JSL has adopted most advanced treatment units for Pollution Control.

Effluent Generation	Sugar Unit JSL has 400 CMD capacity ETP plant with primary, secondary and tertiary units. Distillery Division (Proposed) Raw spentwash will be primarily evaporated in Integrated Evaporation System followed by standalone Evaporation. Further it will be incinerated in advanced pollution control equipment i.e. 21 TPH incineration Boiler to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge.
Air Pollution Control	Cogeneration Existing Air Pollution equipment wet scrubber. Incineration Advanced Air Pollution control equipment Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) will be installed for proposed incineration Boiler of Distillery with stack height of 69 Meters.
Solid Waste Management	Solid waste generated in form of Boiler ash generated from Baggass burning in Boiler is stored in Ash Pit and used as fertilizer by farmers.
